EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Team Eglin transitioned into Hurricane Condition-5 yesterday ahead of pending Tropical Storm Fred approaching the Gulf Coast region.
HURCON-5 means surface winds in excess of 58 mph or 50 knots could arrive within 96 hours.
