FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Eglin Federal Credit Union has again participated in the United Way Emerald Coast’s Annual Day of Caring.

Twenty-eight Eglin Federal Credit Union employees lent a helping hand by painting and landscaping in Fort Walton Beach and Crestview on April 17.

“Eglin Federal Credit Union has a long tradition of supporting our annual Day of Caring, and this year was no different!” said United Way Emerald Coast’s President and CEO Kelly Jasen.

“Their team split up to cover two projects, providing our Crestview location with some much-needed TLC as well as supporting the City of Fort Walton Beach. We’re so grateful for their willingness to roll up their sleeves to make a difference in our community.”

Eglin Federal Credit Union has sponsored and participated in this event for over 18 years, and employees have painted, cleaned, organized, gardened, and more to help fill the needs of our community.

“I am extremely proud of Eglin Federal Credit Union employees for volunteering and showing our support to the communities in which we live, work and play,” said President/CEO Jerry Williams.

“We look forward to the Day of Caring every year to make a positive impact.”
