DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of its new DeFuniak Springs Branch on June 25 with free ice cream, a prize drawing, and tours of the new facility.
The grand opening celebration will take place Thursday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the branch, located at 677 U.S. Highway 90 W.
Community members are invited to stop by for complimentary Dippin’ Dots ice cream while supplies last and enter for a chance to win a YETI Roadie cooler, courtesy of Eglin FCU. Rules for the drawing are available here.
Visitors may also tour the new branch and learn more about Eglin FCU membership.
The DeFuniak Springs Branch is Eglin FCU’s second full-service branch in Walton County and its 12th branch overall. The Freeport Branch opened in July 2024, and the Santa Rosa Beach ATM and Video Teller drive-thru at 4634 U.S. Highway 98 W. opened in May 2026.
The DeFuniak Springs Branch was designed and built by La Macchia Group, which also served as the design-build firm for Eglin FCU’s Freeport Branch, Pace Branch, and Operations Center.
The approximately 4,400-square-foot branch features an open design with interactive touchscreens, a Coinstar machine, night drop, touchscreen Video Tellers, and drive-thru ATMs.
Eglin FCU offers membership opportunities to individuals who live, work, attend school, or worship within its geographic field of membership in Walton County.
