FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union has recognized Member Service Counselor Clasina Cox for 25 years of service, honoring her dedication to members and coworkers.
A celebratory breakfast was held July 9 at the Eglin Air Force Base Branch, where family members, friends and coworkers gathered to recognize Ms Cox’s 25-year service milestone and contributions to the credit union.
Eglin Air Force Base Branch Manager Nikki Manzie praised Cox’s commitment to both members and her team.
“Clasina consistently shows up for her team and our members, anticipating needs and delivering exceptional service every single day,” Ms Manzie said. “Her commitment to the team’s success is clear in everything she does.”
Manzie said Cox is dedicated to minimizing member wait times while providing fast, efficient and accurate service. She added that Cox communicates clearly and thoroughly, and that her ability to combine efficiency with genuine care and positivity makes a lasting impact on both members and coworkers.
Ms Cox began her career with Eglin Federal Credit Union on July 9, 2001, as a part-time teller at the Mary Esther Branch before being promoted to full-time teller the following year. In 2007, she was promoted to Membership Officer and later that year became a Member Service Counselor. She was promoted to Member Service Counselor II in 2008.
In 2011, Cox transferred to the Fort Walton Beach Branch as an Insurance Specialist before returning to the Member Service Counselor II position in 2014. She moved to the Eglin Air Force Base Branch in 2016, where she continues serving members.
Throughout her career, Eglin Federal Credit Union said she has earned a reputation for exceptional member service and dependability.
Reflecting on the milestone, Ms Cox said she never expected the position she accepted 25 years ago would become her lifelong career.
“Twenty-five years ago, I never imagined that this would become my lifelong career, but I am so grateful to be here and for all the opportunities I’ve had with Eglin FCU,” Cox said.
“I’m fortunate to work with a team that not only prioritizes exceptional member service but also supports and celebrates one another through life’s important moments.”
Cox said she has learned from many outstanding coworkers over the years and that their knowledge has helped her better serve members. She said it is especially rewarding when members and teammates seek her out because of her experience and expertise.
“The Eglin AFB Branch is like a second home, and I look forward to more years of living my best life with Eglin FCU!” Ms Cox said.
