History program to focus on the history of Destin, January 13 at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida

History Sandwiched in Heritage Museum

Popular Historian Hank Klein will present, “Destin Pioneer Settlers… a Land History of Destin from 1819-1940” during History Sandwiched-In, a free public program at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, Friday, January 13 at 12:00 PM.

Klein will share information from his recently published book about early Destin, FL including the turn-over of land from Spain to the United States and other important facts including homesteading in Destin, and how at one point in time, one man owned nearly all of Destin, FL.

Bring a sandwich and join us for History Sandwiched-In, an informal lunch-time education program at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, Friday, January 13 at 12:00 p.m.

This lecture is free and open to the public.  SPACE IS LIMITED.  Please call to reserve a seat. (850) 678-2615.
