NICEVILLE, FLA, MAY 21, 2020 — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning a sixth death related to COVID-19 in Okaloosa County. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 184, the same number as yesterday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 23, one less than yesterday.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning a sixth death related to COVID-19 in Okaloosa County. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 184, the same number as yesterday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 23, one less than yesterday.

According to FDOH, a 33-year-old Okaloosa County woman has died from COVID-19. The death was not travel related. The woman had been in contact with someone with a confirmed case and tested positive on April 12.

The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 30, no change since yesterday.

The total number of deaths in Okaloosa County related to COVID-19 is six, one more since yesterday. Four of the six are related to nursing homes.

To date, 5,099 tests have been performed in Okaloosa County.

The average age of Okaloosa’s confirmed COVID-19 cases is 47.88 years.
