According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), a Crestview man on felony probation faces a long list of new narcotics charges following the execution of a narcotics search warrant by members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force (DFT).

On Friday, the Sheriff’s Office said its DTF went to 2810 Carver Avenue in Crestview, reportedly the residence of Marlin Reynolds, 32.

Deputies said they found evidence Reynolds had attempted to flush plastic bags of cocaine and methamphetamine down a toilet at the home.

Lawmen also allegedly located cocaine in a bedroom dresser drawer, along with a pistol with an extended magazine and Reynolds’ driver license, the OCSO said.

According to the OCSO, the pistol was reported stolen in 2020.

A search of Reynolds’ car reportedly turned up more than 500 grams of methamphetamine and packaging materials, the OCSO said.

According to the OCSO, the charges against Reynolds include trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in fentanyl, and trafficking in cocaine, along with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, tampering or destroying evidence, and felony violation of probation.
