The WCSO said it charged Bryan Reed, 36, of Crestview, with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and using a two-way communication device in the commission of a felony

According to the WCSO, on Tuesday evening, information was received by the agency’s VICE/Narcotics Unit that Mr Reed was traveling to DeFuniak Springs with a large quantity of drugs.

Investigators reportedly located the vehicle in DeFuniak Springs and Reed was detained.

The WCSO said a K9 was deployed, and it indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A subsequent search allegedly revealed 12 ounces of methamphetamine and 28 grams of marijuana in a backpack located inside the backseat of the SUV.

Mr Reed was reportedly out on bond after being arrested in Okaloosa County in March on weapons charges. He was issued a $100,000 bond.
