The Connector Run, a 5K/Half Marathon to mark the opening of the Mid-Bay Connector, will be held on Jan. 4, 2014, at 8 a.m. Shortly following the start of the run will be a 5K Run/Walk.
The runs will start and finish at the Mullet Festival site. The course stretches over portions of the new roadway which links the north end of the Mid-Bay Bridge with State Road 85 in Niceville.
The event includes music, food, beverages and door prizes.
