Compass Rose Restaurant, Valparaiso Fl

(Valparaiso Fla, Compass Rose Restaurant) – The Compass Rose Restaurant in Valparaiso closed on Monday, Feb. 16, and has posted on its Facebook page that the restaurant will soon reopen.

The Compass Rose, located at 303 Glen Avenue, offered diners fine waterfront dining overlooking Tom’s Bayou. It opened to much fanfare in 2010.

According to an article published in the Northwest Florida Daily News, the restaurant closed Monday morning with no warning to employees. According to the restaurant’s new general manager, some key employees have been retained.

The restaurant’s Facebook page states “The Rose is closed for a bit…but we’ll be re-opening soon with a new concept….stay tuned!”
