City of Niceville hosting meet-and-greet retirement send-off for Lannie Corbin

NICEVILLE, Fla. — The City of Niceville invites residents to participate in a meet-and-greet retirement send-off event honoring City Manager Lannie Corbin.

People are invited to join Corbin for coffee any weekday next week, July 24-28, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the Niceville Senior Center, 201 Campbell Drive.

The 81-year-old has served the city for 52 years as city manager. His  retirement is scheduled for July 31,

The event will celebrate Corbin’s dedication and allow the community to share memorable moments with him, the city said in an announcement.

“This occasion will be a chance to connect with fellow citizens, extend your well wishes to Mr. Corbin, and engage in pleasant conversations over a cup of coffee,” the city said.

“Your presence at this event would be greatly appreciated as we honor Mr. Corbin and recognize his outstanding commitment to the City of Niceville.”
