Charity Date Auction raises $4,000 for EOD Warrior Foundation

$4,000 Raised for EOD Warrior Foundation

The 2020 “Not Your Typical Charity Date Auction” hosted by LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant & Oyster Bar and Bluewater Bay Marina Complex raised $4,000 for the EOD Warrior Foundation. Jimmie Boisjolie, Marketing Director for Bluewater Bay Marina Complex, presented the funds to Melissa Tackitt, Director of Memorial Care and Events, EOD Warrior Foundation.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The 2020 “Not Your Typical Charity Date Auction” hosted by LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant & Oyster Bar and Bluewater Bay Marina Complex raised $4,000 for the EOD Warrior Foundation.

Jimmie Boisjolie, Marketing Director for Bluewater Bay Marina Complex, presented the funds to Melissa Tackitt, Director of Memorial Care and Events, EOD Warrior Foundation.

Many local businesses and individuals donated auction items for the annual event which also included the auctioning of live dates.  The event was held Feb. 7.

The support of the community and patrons made this a successful event, said Boisjolie.

The EOD Warrior Foundation provides support for the EOD Community active duty, veterans, and retired.
