NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health on Monday reported seven newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County. There are three new cases in Niceville and Valparaiso.
The FDOH reports 31 vaccinations were administered in Okaloosa County the previous day. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in Okaloosa is 58,645. The number of people who have completed the vaccination series in Okaloosa is 41,366, according to FDOH data.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa is 20,305.
The FDOH reports the total number of people killed by COVID-19 in Okaloosa is 360, one less death since the previous report.
Statewide, 3,513 new cases were reported by the FDOH. The current cumulative total is 2,212,097. The total number of Florida residents who have died from COVID-19 in the state is 34,912.
The cumulative number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 730, one more since the previous day. Currently, there are 13 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa County hospitals.
