Alaqua Animal Refuge to host Animoré Weekend featuring Bluegrass Barn Jam

FREEPORT, Fla.—Alaqua Animal Refuge will host the Animoré Weekend in Freeport on Saturday, September 21, featuring the Bluegrass Barn Jam.

The event promises a day filled with music and community spirit, with performances by nationally and regionally recognized Bluegrass bands.

The entertainment lineup includes Buffalo Nickel, Molly Thomas, Hurricane Party, Queens Ransom, and Blue Highway. The event offers a variety of Bluegrass sounds on multiple stages across Alaqua’s expansive property.

Gates open at 1 p.m., and the event begins at 1:30 p.m.

In addition to live music, the Animoré Weekend will include family-friendly activities, food trucks, beverages, and a silent auction. Starting at 6:30 p.m., an exclusive VIP section will provide prime seating and complimentary food and beverages during the evening performances.

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs for the daytime performances.

The Bluegrass Barn Jam will take place rain or shine. General admission tickets are $50, kids’ tickets are $25, and VIP tickets are $200. Tickets can be purchased online at the Alaqua Animal Refuge website.

The Alaqua Animal Refuge is at 155 Dugas Way in Freeport.
