AMVETS Post 78 in Valparaiso invites the general public to its back hall on Sunday, May 17, 1 p.m., for ‘A Day at the Races’. Doors will open at noon and lunch will be available. This special event will include ‘mock’ horse racing, prizes, drawings and much more. Come on out and join the fun and help the Post raise money for charity.
There will be six races with a seventh ‘Sweepstakes Race’ for all the winners of the first six races. You can own a horse, you can bet on a horse, or you can just come out and have a good time.
