Tucker Duke’s Lunch Box, a popular Valparaiso eatery, is in the process of moving to North Light Marina in Niceville with an anticipated opening in the coming days.
The former location of Tucker Duke’s is now Smokin Jalapeno. Its Facebook page describes the restaurant as a taco joint that serves “hardcore Mexican street food.” Local chef Brian Cartenuto crafted the menus at both Smokin Jalapeno and Tucker Duke’s.
Tucker Duke’s, known for its burgers, will expand its menu at the new location to feature local, seasonal, sustainable seafood. A selection of craft beers also will be available, according to Tucker Duke’s Facebook page.
Tucker Duke’s is expected to open sometime around May 15-18. Smokin Jalapeno opened on May 4.
North Light Marina is located at 113 E. John Sims Parkway in Niceville. Smokin Jalapeno is located at 73 S. John Sims Parkway in Valparaiso.
