Rucker, who is a Professor of History at Pensacola State College, will share his collection of personal accounts from his new book about men and women who actually lived through the Civil War and their experiences, with some personal accounts with local interests including Camp Walton.
Dr. Brian Rucker will present “Mine Eyes Have Seen: Firsthand Reminiscences of the Civil War in West Florida,” Friday, September 8, 12 p.m., during History Sandwiched-In, an exciting lunchtime lecture at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.
This lecture is free and open to the public.
