CRESTVIEW, Fla. — The rescheduled America 250 Veterans & Patriots Grand Parade will roll through downtown Crestview on Nov. 7 as part of Okaloosa County’s celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Crestview native and Olympic speedskater Mia Manganello, who won a bronze medal for the United States at the Olympic Winter Games in Milan, Italy, in February, will serve as grand marshal.
The parade, previously known as the Okaloosa County America 250 Commission Grand Parade, had been postponed and is now scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. The route will follow Main Street through downtown Crestview.
Organizers said the parade will feature floats, marching bands, veteran tributes, community organizations, and cultural groups. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue or colonial- or Continental-period clothing.

If weather forces the parade to be canceled, a make-up date is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.
The event is presented by America 250, the Okaloosa County America 250 Commission, Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, City of Crestview, Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners, Okaloosa County League of Cities and Destin-Fort Walton Beach.
The Okaloosa County America 250 Commission was established by resolution of the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners on Jan. 20 to support activities for residents and visitors throughout 2026 commemorating the founding of the United States. The commission will operate through Jan. 31, 2027.
