“Here in Niceville — which replaced the town name Boggy in 1910 — questions about the president’s tweets were often met with shrugs.”
–The Washington Post

When the Washington Post wanted to know what folks think about President Donald Trump, the paper turned to the residents of Niceville.

In a story published today online, reporter Jenna Johnson spoke with Niceville residents at American Legion Post 221, Walmart, the Splash Park, and Po Folks Restaurant in Niceville. The story is headlined, “‘I wish he’d quit tweeting’: Many Trump backers say it’s time for him to put down his phone.”

According to the story, many of President Trump supporters in the nicest little city in the South wish he would stop tweeting, though most don’t have Twitter accounts and have never seen his tweets directly. Others said they were less concerned about the President’s tweets and more concerned that “some congressional Republicans not supporting the president’s full agenda, about liberals not giving Trump a fair chance and about the media seeming to ignore the victories that they see.”
