The 2017 Niceville Egg Dash will feature thousands of plastic eggs and other prizes scattered out on the four playing fields at the Niceville Recreation Complex.
The 2017 Niceville Egg Dash will be held on Saturday, April 15, 11 a.m., at the Niceville Recreation Complex. The popular Easter event is now in its 30th year.
The Egg Dash is for children ages 8 and under. Children collect colorful plastic eggs filled with candy and small toys. Some eggs will contain notes redeemable for a larger prize.
Don’t be late! Start time is 11:00 a.m. (sharp!). Please be a little early for parking and lineup so your child does not miss the event — it doesn’t take the dashers long to empty the fields and fill their baskets!
Children are divided into age groups by fields. 2 and under, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8.
Hoping for good weather! Last year
‘s Egg Dash event was canceled due to thunderstorms.
The Niceville Recreation Complex is located on Campbell Drive.
