Enjoy a day of authentic pioneer activities at the 2015 Pioneer Day, to be held Saturday, November 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park in Niceville.
Pioneer Day 2015 features numerous exhibits and hand-on crafts projects at the park, pioneer survival skills, music and storytelling. Family activities will include candle-dipping, rag doll making, butter churning, shingle making and campfire cooking demonstration. Displays will also include early folk toys, and a 19th century chuck wagon.
Admission to the park and the Pioneer Day event is free of charge.
