CRESTVIEW, Fla. — A Crestview man has been charged following an investigation into a shooting that occurred during a disturbance at a residence earlier this month, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) announced that 54-year-old Reginald Bradshaw, of 881 West James Lee Boulevard, has been charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon.
According to the OCSO, deputies responded to a disturbance at the residence on January 15. Investigators said a woman holding a firearm reportedly struck another woman who had come to the apartment.
During the altercation, the firearm discharged, causing a non-life-threatening injury to the victim’s shoulder, the sheriff’s office said.
Investigators said Mr Bradshaw, a convicted felon, later admitted to owning two additional firearms inside the home.
