SEAGROVE BEACH, Fla. — Café Thirty-A raised a record-breaking $90,905 for Caring and Sharing of South Walton during its Annual Christmas Charity Ball, which also marked the restaurant’s 30-year anniversary.
The sold-out holiday event was held Saturday, December 6, 2025, and welcomed more than 250 guests to the festively decorated restaurant. The evening celebrated three decades of community support while raising funds for families in need across South Walton.
The Charity Ball was presented by honorary sponsors Coastal Luxury Real Estate, Earl Bacon Agency, Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A., and the Ellis Family. Décor was provided by Palms 30A, with complimentary valet parking sponsored by All Access Coach and Leasing. Guests were greeted with champagne courtesy of Clear Title and Escrow.
Attendees enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet dinner buffet, a cash bar sponsored by All Access Coach and Leasing, and desserts provided by Haney Holloway, LLC. Sponsors and VIP guests also received access to a pre-party event hosted by The Watson Group.
The evening featured an extensive silent auction with art, jewelry, gift baskets, and luxury items, along with an Epic Photo Co. photo booth courtesy of A BOHEME Design. Music was provided by DJ Casey, sponsored by Maranta Copy Co., keeping guests on the Barlovento Dance Floor throughout the night.
Santa made a surprise appearance courtesy of Barnes Capital Group, with photos sponsored by Corcoran Reverie. An upstairs lounge, new this year and sponsored by Engel & Volkers 30A Beaches, provided additional space for guests to relax and mingle.
In recognition of Café Thirty-A’s 30-year milestone, handmade pearl jewelry from Mignot & Co. was offered for purchase, with 25 percent of sales donated to Caring and Sharing of South Walton.
“Because the pearl is the traditional symbol for 30 years, we wanted to offer something special for our guests this year,” said Café Thirty-A co-owner Jackie Maliszewski.
“This milestone is only possible because of our incredible community who has gathered around our table and supported Cafe Thirty-A for three decades.”
Funds raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and the silent auction will support Caring and Sharing of South Walton’s mission to provide food assistance, financial help, case management, and connections to additional community resources.
“We are so thankful to Café Thirty-A, our generous sponsors, and everyone who joined us for this special evening,” said Carly Barnes, executive director of Caring and Sharing of South Walton.
“The continued success of the Charity Ball makes a direct impact on our ability to serve local families facing crisis. Because of this community, we can keep saying ‘yes’ when our neighbors need help most.”
Café Thirty-A also recognized dozens of area businesses and individuals who donated items to the silent auction, helping drive the event’s record-setting total.
