VALPARAISO, Fla. — A festive celebration of holiday traditions is set to return to Valparaiso as the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida hosts its annual Yule of Yesteryear event.
The free, family-friendly gathering will take place on December 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Perrine Park, offering visitors a delightful array of seasonal entertainment, crafts, and treats.
Guests can enjoy live performances by local choirs, including the Lewis Encore Chorus, Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus, Rocky Bayou Christian School Chorus, and Edge Elementary Tiger Chorus.
Music begins at 11 a.m., with each group bringing the sounds of the season to life. Adding to the festivities, balladeer Mike Gentry will perform Christmas music throughout the day in the museum.
Santa Claus will make a special appearance from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., delighting children and families with photo opportunities and holiday cheer.
The event features a variety of activities for all ages, including a Valparaiso Garden Club Sale, craft vendors, a bake sale, and children’s crafts. Treats like Dippin’ Dots and other holiday goodies will also be available to enjoy.
The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, located at 115 Westview Avenue in Valparaiso, invites everyone to this annual holiday event. Admission is free, and the community is encouraged to attend and create lasting memories.
