NICEVILLE, Fla. — In response to the less-than-ideal weather forecast for Saturday, the Niceville-Valparaiso Rotary Club has decided to reschedule the highly anticipated Niceville Christmas Parade.

The decision to postpone was announced by the Rotary Club on Wednesday afternoon. They emphasized that the change was made after careful consideration of the projected weekend weather.

“After careful consideration of the projected weekend weather, the Niceville Valparaiso Christmas Parade has been moved from Saturday, December 2, to Saturday, December 9, at 10 am.,” the club said.

On Thursday morning, rain and thunderstorms were forecast for Saturday morning, with rainfall totals in excess of 1.5 inches.
