Six arrested following search of Niceville area home

NICEVILLE, Fla. — Six people have been arrested following the execution of a narcotics search warrant at a Niceville area home, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

According to the statement, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed the search warrant at a home at 1481 Pine Street on June 28, The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) said the home has been associated with narcotics overdoses and suspected narcotics distribution.

Harriet Hall, 52, and Dewayne Shelton, 43, both of 1481 Pine Street, are charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, the OCSO said.

William Davis Jr., 30, of Cypress Street in Niceville, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, the OCSO said.

According to the OCSO, Charley Bautista, 34, of Pine Street, is charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, Brittney Robertson, 33, and Michael Spears, 37, of 1481 Pine Street, are both charged with child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia, the OCSO said.

Deputies said Robertson and Spears had items such as uncapped hypodermic needles and bags with meth residue within reach of two small children at the home.

The deputies said the children were also sleeping on dirty clothes that had cockroaches crawling in them, according to the OCSO.
