Base COVID-19 vaccine information

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — The 96th Medical Group currently offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to all uniformed service personnel and eligible DoD beneficiaries, ages 12 and above in the local area.

The Allergy and Immunizations Clinic has COVID-19 vaccination appointments available exclusively through the DHA Appointing Portal.

Appointments are Tuesdays through Thursdays for first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Second doses of the Moderna vaccine will be available Aug. 25th and Sept. 8.

Current eligible patients for the Pfizer COVID vaccine include:

  • All DoD healthcare workers
  • Uniformed personnel on active duty, Reserve or Guard status
  • All eligible DoD beneficiaries, to include dependents ages 12 and above

Front line essential workers to include:

  • Teachers, support staff, and child and youth service workers who work on a DoD installation
  • DoD corrections staff
  • DoD postal service staff
  • DoD public transit workers
  • Commissary and other DoD installation food service workers
