The number of COVID-19 deaths in Okaloosa County is 71, no change.
Statewide, 2,974 new cases were reported since yesterday.
The number of cumulative hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 224, no change since yesterday.
Currently, there are 35 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa County hospitals; 11 in ICU beds.
Yesterday, there were 394 tests returned in Okaloosa with 34 positives. The daily positivity rate was 8.63 percent.
Okaloosa’s weekly positivity rate for the week ending yesterday, August 16-22, is 8.93 percent. The positivity rate was 8.61 percent for the previous week, August 9-15.
