NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 3,878, 31 more since yesterday morning. The death toll in Okaloosa now is 70, three more deaths reported since yesterday and the second day in a row with three deaths.
One of the newly reported deaths was associated with a long-term care facility. Okaloosa now has 36 deaths associated with long-term care facilities compared to just 12 in Walton County and 9 in Santa Rosa County.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 488.
Statewide, 4,684 new cases were reported since yesterday.

The number of cumulative hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 221, seven more since yesterday.
Yesterday there were 312 tests with 30 positives. The daily positivity rate was 9.6 percent.
