NICEVILLE, FLA, JUNE 24, 2020 — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 457, 21 more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 48.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 457, 21 more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 48.

Statewide, the number of cases is 109,014, an increase of 5,508 since yesterday morning. Many restaurants, bars, and pubs in the state are defying Gov. Ron DeSantis’ executive orders on reopening and social distancing. To date, no fines have been levied and no enforcement action has been taken by the state to protect residents and visitors.

In Okaloosa, the number of hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 56, no change since yesterday.

The number of deaths in Okaloosa County remains unchanged at six.

  • Destin, 57, one more since yesterday
  • Niceville, 45, one more since yesterday

  • Eglin AFB, 7, one more since yesterday
  • Laurel Hill, 4, no change
  • Baker, 2, no change
  • Holt, 2, no change
  • Valparaiso, 3, no change
  • Missing, 9, one more since yesterday
