NICEVILLE, Fla — The Exchange Club of Niceville will host its 2019 Field of Valor flag display Sept. 7-14 at the Mullet Festival Grounds in Niceville. The opening ceremony is at 10 a.m. on Sept. 7.
The Field of Valor honors service members from the State of Florida who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11/01.

The opening ceremony’s keynote speaker is Lt. Gen Richard Y. Newton III (Ret). Representatives from our local community (military and civilian), The Fisher House/Eglin AFB and a representative from the National Exchange Club will also speak. An Honor Guard will post and retire the colors. This ceremony officially opens the field to visitors.
The Field of Valor will display 360 3’ x 5’ flags in perfect columns and rows. On each flag, a tag will be attached with information on the service member—name, rank, hometown, branch of service, and date of death.
