License-free saltwater fishing this weekend

Niceville.comMay 30, 2019Updated:May 31, 20191 Min Read

Florida saltwater anglers can fish license-free June 1-2, 2019. Freshwater fisherman can fish license-free the following weekend, June 8-9, 2019.

License-free fishing days in Florida provide an excellent opportunity for those who don’t yet have a fishing license to experience fishing, take youth fishing, or for avid anglers to introduce a friend to fishing without having to purchase a license.  On these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for all recreational anglers, including both residents and non-residents.
