The 2019 Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow will be held November 1-3, 2019 at the Mullet Festival Grounds in Niceville located at the intersection of State Road 85 North & College Boulevard. NICEVILLE, Fla — The 2019 Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow will be held November 1-3, 2019 at the Mullet Festival Grounds in Niceville located at the intersection of State Road 85 North & College Boulevard.
Sponsored by Eglin Native American Heritage Observance Month Committees and the Thunderbird Intertribal Council, Inc., the 2019 powwow in Niceville marks the event’s 32nd year.
Experience the colorful sights and distinctive sounds of Native American dancing, drumming, and singing. Spend the day with craft makers, singers, dancers, flute players, storytellers, and exhibits.
Admission to the popular Native American gathering is $5 for adults; $3 for children age 12 and younger. Children’s Day admission is $3 (Friday).
Opening hours are:
Friday (Children’s Day) – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 7 pm., Grand Entry, Intertribal dancing into the night;
Saturday – 10 a.m. with dancing, exhibitions and competition dancing into the night (7 pm., Grand Entry);
Sunday – 10 a.m. with dancing, exhibitions and competition winners until 4 p.m.
