WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — A member of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) K9 unit made another arrest similar to one made last week involving a firearm, mask, and drugs, according to the agency.
Monday night around 9:30 pm, a Walton County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit stopped a Dodge Charger on US Highway 98 in Inlet Beach for driving 62 mph in a 35-mph zone, according to the WCSO.
The smell of burnt marijuana reportedly was coming from the vehicle when the deputy approached the car.

After a search inside, the WCSO says the deputy found a five-seven caliber handgun with a magazine loaded with 20 rounds of ammo, a green ski mask, and marijuana.
Nicholas Mahon, 20, of Fairdale, Kentucky was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and felony possession of a concealed firearm, the WCSO said.
