Justin K. Miles, 39, was reportedly driving a blue Chevy truck at 80 mph over the Clyde B. Wells Bridge when a deputy pulled him over Thursday morning. A records check revealed active felony warrants for weapons charges issued by the Office of the City Marshal, DeFuniak Springs Police.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle, WCSO deputies reportedly found five firearms, including one tucked in Mr Miles’ waistband, along with two small bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Miles was taken into custody and transported to the Walton County Jail. He faces multiple charges, including possession of an altered firearm, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and five counts of committing a second-degree felony with a weapon, according to the WCSO.

A $10,000 bond was set for Mr Miles.
