This comprehensive advisory compiles FDOT’s latest weekly traffic advisories for U.S. 98 in Bay, Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties, ensuring you have the most up-to-date information before you hit the road.
BAY COUNTY:
— U.S. 98 west of Tyndall Drive-Airey Avenue to east of Louisiana Avenue
U.S. 98 drivers may encounter intermittent lane closures between Tyndall Drive- Airey Avenue and Louisiana Avenue through Sunday, June 30.
— U.S. 98 Widening from Mandy Lane to east of Nautilus Street
Drivers will encounter alternating lane closures on U.S. 98, between Pier Park Drive and Cambridge Boulevard, from Sunday, May 19, through Wednesday, May 22, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Construction crews will be placing drainage beneath the existing roadway. In addition, the Nautilus Station driveway will be closed from Monday, May 20, until Tuesday, May 21. Drivers should utilize Nautilus Street North to access the shopping plaza.

— U.S. 98 Widening from Mack Bayou Road to County Road 30A
Drivers may encounter intermittent, alternating lane closures on U.S. 98 between Mack Bayou Road and County Road 30A from Sunday, May 19, through Thursday, May 23, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for paving operations and signalization work.

SANTA ROSA COUNTY:
— U.S. 98 Widening from Bayshore Road to Portside Drive
Motorists will encounter the following traffic impacts:
- Median and turn-lane closures from Bayshore Road to Tiger Lake Drive
