Teams sought for Fire Truck Pull at Oktoberfest [Video]

The cost to enter is $100 per team.  Members of the first 10 teams to sign up will receive a commemorative beer stein. The winning team receives a trophy — and fire truck-pulling bragging rights!

Are you up to the challenge of pulling a fire truck? North Bay Fire District is seeking teams to take part in its Annual Charity Fire Truck Pull at the Oktoberfest celebration in Bluewater later this month.

Teams consist of 10 individuals who work together to pull a firetruck over a fixed distance and compete for the best time. All clubs, groups, and organizations are welcome — gather up your friends and put a winning team together!

The 2018 Fire Truck Pull is Friday, Sept. 28, 7 p.m., at the Winn Dixie Shopping Center on East Highway 20. It begins at 7 p.m. (captain’s meeting at 6:30 p.m.).
