2019 Invasion on the Bayou

Invasion on the Bayou #2 SUP Race has both a one-mile race and a three-mile race featuring surf and race-style board divisions.

Invasion on the Bayou #2 SUP Race is Saturday, June 22 at the Bluewater Bay Marina Complex. The annual standup paddleboard race is sponsored by Bluewater Bay Marina and LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant and benefits the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club’s youth water safety project.

The public is invited to participate.

Invasion on the Bayou #2 SUP Race has both a one-mile race and a three-mile race featuring surf and race-style board divisions.

Niceville Florida Community Farmers Market at Palm Plaza

Early registration is $25; otherwise, registration is $30 on the day of the race. You can register online at nicevillevalparaisorotary.org.

The race is a Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club project that supports reading literacy and water safety. Money raised from the project buys the book, Josh the Baby Otter, which is distributed to children enrolled in local preschools.
