NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Okaloosa County Health Improvement Partnership (OCHIP) will host an International Overdose Awareness Day Community Event in Niceville on August 28, offering education, support, and resources for the community.
The event is scheduled at Crosspoint Church, located at 214 Partin Drive S. A free dinner for the public begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a program from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
State Attorney Ginger Bowden Madden is slated to deliver the keynote address. The evening will also include testimonials, local overdose data, and resource tables from substance use organizations and nonprofits.
