FLORIDA — Smoothie King, the world’s largest smoothie chain, today announced strong franchise growth in the first quarter of 2022, signing development agreements to open 51 new stores in Florida and other key growth markets.

Smoothie King has more than 1,300 locations including locations throughout Florida. Locally, Smoothie King has stores in Niceville, Destin, Miramar Beach, Mary Esther, Crestview, Panama City Beach, Pensacola and Pace, among other places.

There are numerous Smoothie King stores in the central and southern portions of the state.
Following the brand’s success in 2021, which included opening over 100 new stores globally, Smoothie King announced aggressive domestic growth plans for the coming year in Florida, the Carolinas, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin, and throughout the Southwest, Mountain, Upper Midwest, and New England regions.
As part of its expansion plans for 2022, Smoothie King is currently seeking experienced operators. Single- and multi-unit development opportunities are available, as well as incentives for active-duty U.S. military or veterans and for first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians.
