According to the City of Niceville, Mr Chambers served 33 years in the U.S. Air Force. He will lead the second annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 15, at 10 a.m., continuing a community tradition launched in 2024.

The parade was introduced last year under City Manager David Deitch’s leadership and quickly drew families, schools, civic groups, and local organizations together along John Sims Parkway to honor those who have served.

City officials emphasized that the Grand Marshal is chosen to reflect patriotism, service, and sacrifice, and that Mr Chambers’ decades of military service represent those values.
