NICEVILLE, Fla. — The community is invited to come join in the fun at the annual cardboard boat race next month in Bluewater Bay.

Bluewater Bay Marina’s 15th Annual Cardboard Boat Race is on Sunday, September 11, 2022. The event begins at 4 p.m. at the marina.

Registration is now open at Bluewater Bay Marina.

The cost for early registration is $25 for both the adult and junior single divisions. The early entry fee is $35 for both the junior team of two and business divisions, according to organizers.

On race day, the entry fee is $35 for singles and $45 for teams.

Cash prizes are awarded for first and second place in each division. Also, prizes are awarded for the best design in each division and the Titanic Award (best sinking).

Bluewater High & Dry has FREE Cardboard; call 850-897-0334 to arrange pick-up.

There will be a hamburger and hotdog cookout from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
