OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures and traffic changes in Okaloosa and Walton counties from Sunday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 21, as crews perform construction and maintenance work.

OKALOOSA COUNTY
— Brooks Bridge Replacement Project:
U.S. 98 alternating lane closures between Ferry Road and Pier Road, and Santa Rosa Boulevard alternating lane closures from east of Amberjack Drive to Ross Marler Park, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for construction activities.
— Interstate 10 Resurfacing:
Alternating I-10 lane closures between mile markers 50 and 60, from west of the Yellow River to east of the Shoal River, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for striping operations.
— U.S. 98 Resurfacing:
Intermittent lane closures between Josie Road in Mary Esther and Florida Place Southeast in Fort Walton Beach, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for signalization work, paving operations, and thermoplastic striping.
— State Road 85 Improvements:
Single-lane closures from S.R. 123 to Hospital Drive, Sunday through Thursday:
• Southbound, between Shoal River Bridge and S.R. 123, from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• Northbound, between S.R. 123 and Shoal River Bridge, from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

— State Road 85 Resurfacing and Safety Improvements:
Intermittent lane closures from Hospital Drive to U.S. 90, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for paving operations.
— State Road 20 Bridge Repair Over Rocky Bayou:
Intermittent nighttime lane closures over Rocky Bayou, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for construction operations.
WALTON COUNTY
— U.S. 331 Resurfacing Project:
From south of I-10 to U.S. 90, the week of Sunday, Aug. 17:
• The U.S. 331 northbound outside right-turn lane is temporarily closed at the U.S. 90 intersection. One northbound left-turn lane and one lane for both left- and right-turn movements remain open to access U.S. 90.
• The U.S. 90 westbound outside travel lane is temporarily closed between 11th Street and U.S. 331. One westbound travel lane and one left-turn lane to access U.S. 331 remain open.
— U.S. 98 Intersection Improvements at U.S. 331:
Intermittent lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for paving operations.
