Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, one of America’s largest retailers of closeouts, excess inventory, and salvage merchandise, is coming to Niceville. Ollie’s will be located in a part of the former Kmart building in the Oak Creek Shopping Center, adjacent to The Prescription Place of Niceville.

The Niceville location likely will open for business around mid-August, said Jerry Altland, vice president of real estate for Ollies. Altland said the store will be about 29,000 square feet, and Ollie’s will be hiring about 45-55 employees.
Ollie’s decided to come to Niceville because they have stores in nearby Alabama and they are currently expanding into Florida.
“We just opened a store in Orlando, we’re opening in Pensacola next year and in Mobile, so it just made sense to go into Niceville,” said Altland.
Currently, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet has 208 locations in 18 states. Ollie’s opened its Orlando store – Ollie’s first store in Florida – on May 4. NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick was present and greeted shoppers at the grand opening event. Altland said Ollie’s often has a sports or entertainment celebrity at Ollie’s grand opening events, and did not rule it out for the Niceville opening.
According to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet’s website, Ollie’s offers goods at bargain prices in every department, from housewares to sporting goods to flooring and food. Ollie’s buyers reportedly scour the world looking for closeouts, overstocks, package changes, manufacturer refurbished goods, and irregulars.
Everything Ollie’s sells is backed by a 30-day “No Hard Time” guarantee. If the buyer is not completely satisfied with their purchase, it can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
The Oak Creek Shopping Center is located on John Sims Parkway in Niceville.
