Okaloosa Gas continued its support to Children in Crisis by presenting a huge gas grill to the children living at the CIC Children’s Neighborhood.  The grill helped feed the volunteer workers of the recent United Way of Okaloosa Walton “Day of Caring.”

Then the Marketing Director of Okaloosa Gas, Jenni Brunson called CIC and asked if the children needed a  grill.

“We have been blessed with great support from the community to build and sustain operations of the Children’s Neighborhood,” said Ken Hair, CIC President and CEO.

“Support from Okaloosa Gas is a tremendous help in our efforts to help feed and care for the at-risk children living at CIC.  Now the children have a grill big enough for all!”

The CIC Children’s Neighborhood is a beautiful facility, built by the generous support of the community.  It has an emergency shelter for children who are removed without notice from an unsafe environment, five family foster homes for young children and a teen transition homes for foster children aging out of care.
