Avelo Airlines is the only airline offering nonstop service between here and Connecticut.

Avelo operates the route twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. The airline says low one-way fares between VPS and HVN start at $90 for a limited time. Customers can make reservations at AveloAir.com.

“We’re excited to take off in Destin and showcase Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience, and industry-leading reliability,” said Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy

“Getting to Southern Connecticut and everything the greater New England and New York regions have to offer will now be easier than ever. This exclusive nonstop service will also make discovering Florida’s majestic Emerald Coast a fast and seamless journey for Connecticut visitors.”

HVN is located on Connecticut’s coast and is a convenient gateway to all 15 towns that make up Greater New Haven. HVN’s adjacency to multiple major highways and commuter railways makes visiting the New England and New York regions easier than ever. T

Best known as the home of Yale University, New Haven is the second-largest city in Connecticut and is part of the New York metropolitan area.

Since taking flight on April 28, 2021, Avelo said it has flown more than 4.6 million customers on over 36,000 flights. Today, Avelo serves 52 destinations in 23 states and Puerto Rico.
