FLORIDA — The State of Florida is eliminating age restrictions for the COVID vaccine beginning April 5.
Beginning March 29, individuals aged 40 and up can make an appointment for the vaccine.
Starting April 5, anyone aged 18 or older can apply for an appointment to get vaccinated.
Gov. Ron DeSantis made the announcement this morning.
The announcement comes as vaccine supplies increase. The Biden Administration set a target date to expand eligibility to all adults aged 18 and older as of May 1.
