OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers in Okaloosa and Walton counties will encounter nighttime lane closures, daytime work zones, and brief traffic stoppages this week as construction and maintenance projects continue, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced.

— Brooks Bridge Replacement Project
Intermittent lane closures on U.S. 98 from Ferry Road to Pier Road, and on Santa Rosa Boulevard from east of Amberjack Drive to Ross Marler Park, Sunday, April 19 through Thursday, April 23, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for construction activities.
— State Road 85 Resurfacing Project
Alternating lane closures on State Road 85 from U.S. 98 to Richbourg Avenue, Sunday, April 19, through Thursday, April 23, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving operations.

Shoulder closures from the Santa Rosa County line to west of Josie Road, Monday, April 20, through Thursday, April 23, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility relocation and median work.

Intermittent lane closures on U.S. 98 from Paraiso Boulevard to Regions Way, and on State Road 293 from U.S. 98 to the Mid-Bay Bridge, Sunday, April 19 through Thursday, April 23, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for milling and paving operations.

WALTON COUNTY
— Western Lake Bridge Replacement Project
Periodic traffic stoppages on County Road 30A near Western Lake Bridge Sunday, April 19 through Saturday, April 25, between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Delays are expected to last less than 15 minutes, with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone.

Intermittent southbound lane closures north of U.S. 98, Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
