Scrabble Anyone? – The Niceville Public Library will be set up with Scrabble boards for the adult community to play and enjoy on Wednesday and December 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Please keep in mind that you don’t have to be an expert to participate and all skill levels are welcome. So bring your friends or come on your own and join in the fun!

Storytime Program – Storytime for children ages 3 – 5 will begin at 10:30 am.

Cookies and Cocoa! – December 9 & 11

Annual Community Christmas Parade – will be at on Saturday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. The parade route is from John Sims Pkwy at the intersection of Palm Blvd and goes to Partin Drive where the Parade will turn and travel down Partin between the Children’s Park and Ruckel Middle School. See flyer for more details.

Niceville Community Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa in the Park – Please come and join us for the Niceville Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 5 beginning at 5 p.m. and don’t forget to stop by and see Santa in the Children’s Park also on Saturday beginning at 5 p.m.

Mark Your Calendars: The Friends of the Niceville Library and the Library Staff invite you to the Library’s Patron Appreciation Party on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Come and Enjoy!

Baby Bookworms – This lapsit program consists of music, stories and rhymes especially chosen to build the bond between you and your child. The program is suited for children from birth to age 3. Baby Bookworms will be held on Thursday @ 9:30 pre-walkers & 10:30 walkers.

Family Movie – The Library Youth Services will be hosting a movie for ages 6 + in the YS program room on Saturday at 10:30 am.

Animal Tales Holiday Safari a special event with live animals (venue to be determined). This program will be held at 10:30 for ages 3+.

Library Holiday Closures: City Employee Christmas Dinner at 3:30 pm

Storytime Program – Storytime for children ages 3 – 5 will begin at 10:30 am. Featuring “Christmas Is Here”.

Legos @ the Library – Friday from 4 – 5 pm for ages 7 – 12 in our Youth Services program room. This month our theme will be Star Wars. Space is limited so registration is required. Please sign up in Youth Services or call 279-4863 x1514.
Dec 19
Book Club Girls’ Edition – This program will be on Saturday at 10 – 11 am. For girls ages 9 – 12 years. To insure we have ample supplies for everyone, please register in YS or call to reserve your seat 279-4863 x1514. Registration is required.
