NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has charged a Niceville man with operating a public nuisance structure for drug activity.

Four others reported found at the home are also facing charges.

According to the OCSO, the Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at 195 College Cove in Niceville on March 27.

Following the search, Eddie Hudson, Jr., 37, was charged with operating a drug nuisance house and possession of drug equipment.

Mr Hudson reportedly admitted to selling narcotics and allowing people to use drugs at his residence.

The OCSO said nine people were inside the home when law enforcement arrived, including three juveniles.

Gabriel Johnson, 37, Haley Yount, 37, and Joshua Nelson, 46, face charges of possession of drug equipment.

Parker Stewart, 28, was charged with obstruction of law enforcement while executing a search warrant.

The task force is a partnership of the OCSO, Crestview Police Department, Fort Walton Beach Police Department, and Niceville Police Department. It focuses on combating the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in our communities.

The Task Force expressed gratitude to the Niceville Police Department for its efforts in this case.
